Why so much determination?

Machine translation.

Can anyone answer me and enlighten me so that I can find out
Why is my boss always hovering over me, correcting me, and telling me that what I’m doing is wrong or not good enough?
I remind you that I am in the kitchen.
Salad plates we’ve been making for over a year, always the same, and lately it’s just not right.
It's just an example; there's so much to say.
I can't take it anymore, I'm at my breaking point, I cry every day, and I no longer feel like going to work.
I make cookies at your place; they are little cakes that are extra tasty. I’ve been making them for over 20 years, and they’re a real treat.
I brought some this evening for the boss, who really enjoyed them.
He just said "meh," they're full of cream and butter, and after a while he did admit, "yeah, they're good."
It takes a huge effort to say that. I don't care, because I know that what I do is very good.
But why does he keep relentlessly picking on me like this?
I told him one day that I wasn’t feeling well, and he said, “Well, I’ll make an effort.” His effort lasted one day, no more.
I don't even know what I'm capable of anymore; I no longer dare to do anything because I feel so belittled.

On Monday I’m going to apply elsewhere and in principle I would start on September 1st, but will I hold out until then???

I know that what I'm going through is nothing compared to others who have more serious problems, but right now I'm truly at my lowest point.

I thank everyone who will read me
I kiss you

Pat

Good evening Pat,

I wonder whether your boss's persistence isn't more of a personal matter; I get the impression that he has a crush on you and is trying to punish you, perhaps because of your indifferent attitude toward him.
Of course, this is merely a hypothesis, but one that nonetheless deserves reflection…
If he continues like this, I would advise you to contact your union or others, because he owes you respect, and this seems to amount to harassment or unjustifiable contempt!

Good night and have a good weekend
Friendship

The magician.

Thank you, Magic

So this time, I'm out of the running.
I always see and feel when someone is beating around the bush with me.
But that one not at all, and a friend has already told me so.
He is jealous of me, jealous of my fame, and he does everything to draw attention to himself, not knowing anymore how to do it.

But then that's not my type at all; he annoys me more than anything else, this know-it-all guy.
I don't think I've ever met anyone as pretentious as him.
Well, I can see that I need to muster all my courage.

Thank you for your reply
and take care of yourself
cheek
Pat

Hello Patricia,

I understand that what you are going through is not easy. Your boss is probably looking for a way to get you angry. Why? I won’t make any guesses.

I have also experienced jealousy from a boss, and it is not a pleasant thing.

These bosses are troubled by something, whether it’s that they’d like to have our experience, our social status, our character, our strength, … I don’t know.

Good luck,
ClaudiaC
