CHAKRAS...

Machine translation.

Some general information about chakras and their emotional, physical, etc. dimensions

THE ROOT CHAKRA
GENERALITIES
Color: Bright Red Element: Earth
Sense: Smell Symbol: Four-petaled lotus
Organs and body parts involved: bones, teeth, nails, rectum, anus, large intestine, blood, prostate.
Glands involved: The adrenal glands

The Root Chakra keeps us connected to the material world; through it, we are in contact with Mother Earth. The fundamental survival needs of the animal we still are reside there. Accepting the bodily, and therefore primary, part of our being, and the will to act in balance with the laws of the earth, are signs of an open Root Chakra.

If it is in harmony and open, you are in symbiosis with the earth and its creatures, and you feel integrated into the natural cycles of life. You trust the earth and what it can provide you with, like a generous mother: food, protection, and security.

If it is not harmonious or not properly opened, all your concerns are focused on the possession of material goods and the gratification of the senses—alcohol, sex, good food. In short, everything you can appropriate to “enjoy” life, without asking yourself any questions about possible consequences. At the same time, you are never satisfied; you are withdrawn and suspicious.

If it is completely blocked or closed, your physical and mental resistance is weak. You have many problems in meeting life's needs. You are easily destabilized and very unstable. You cannot progress if this Chakra is not open and harmonious; it is the foundation of your energetic structure.

THE SACRED CHAKRA
GENERAL INFORMATION
Color: Orange Element: Water
Sense: Taste Symbol: Six-petaled lotus
Affected organs and body parts: The reproductive organs, kidneys, bladder, and bodily fluids (blood, lymph, urine, semen, digestive juices).
Glands involved: The gonads (ovaries and testes)

This chakra is the seat of sexual energy, the creative force necessary for the reproduction of creatures. It is associated with the water element, the source of life. In the body, its action lies in the elimination of toxins by the kidneys and the bladder. On the psychic level, we experience it as letting go and surrender.

If you are in harmony and open, your feelings are spontaneous and open, and you have a privileged relationship with people of the opposite sex. Life flows naturally within you; you are adaptable, and life fills you with passion and enthusiasm. You are at ease in life's whirlpools of energy, allowing them to flow through you without resistance.

If it is not harmonious or not properly opened, your sexuality is oriented toward sensual pleasure, and fantasies are its driving force. Life itself hardly surprises you anymore; you no longer feel a sense of wonder at the things of nature. In short, you have lost your innocence.

If it is completely blocked or closed, the origin is often in childhood, and your parents themselves must have been repressed regarding caresses and sensory stimuli. During your puberty, the emerging sexual energies were crystallized, making you a cold and distant being.

THE PLEXUS CHAKRA
GENERAL INFORMATION
Color: Yellow Element: Fire
Sense: Sight Symbol: Ten-petaled lotus
Affected organs and body parts: lower back, abdomen, digestive system (stomach, liver, spleen, gallbladder, duodenum, small intestine), autonomic nervous system.
Glands involved: The pancreas

The Solar Plexus Chakra is the seat of the ego; here, our emotional energy communicates with the outside world, which is why it is important, as it is the center responsible for our good or bad mood. Through it, we directly absorb the negative or positive vibrations emanating from other beings.

If it is in harmony and open, it imparts a sense of peace and inner harmony. It is also the acceptance of oneself and one's place in the social world, the acceptance of natural laws and life's experiences. In short, you feel good in your own skin and truly in your rightful place.

If it is not harmonious or not properly open, you have the unfortunate tendency to want to control everything and to exert your power over others. You are plagued by inner restlessness, and your youth was likely marked by a lack of self-esteem.

If it is completely blocked or closed off, depression is assured; you lack confidence and vitality. Your entire life consists of obstacles against which you wage a relentless and exhausting battle. New challenges frighten you, and the slightest self-questioning is painful.

THE HEART CHAKRA
GENERAL INFORMATION
Color: Green Element: Air
Sense: Touch Symbol: Twelve-petaled lotus
Organs and body parts involved: upper back, heart, lower lungs, skin, blood.
Glands involved: The thymus

The Heart Chakra is the bridge between the lower psycho-emotional energy centers and the higher mental-spiritual ones. Here lies each person’s capacity to “be touched,” to feel the sacred side of things. This center possesses an energy that radiates very strongly outward; it is true and unconditional love.

If you are in harmony and open, you are a channel of divine love; you can heal and reconcile the people around you, and you do the things in your life with your heart, the one that does not calculate. You are in a state that allows you to distinguish, with wonder, the divine side of beings and things.

If it is not harmonious or not properly open, you have difficulty accepting and giving unconditional love to others. You expect consideration or some form of reward in return. Anything related to love and tenderness makes you uncomfortable; you feel embarrassed.

If you are completely blocked or shut off, you are locked in your shell; you would like to give love, but you are afraid of rejection, even more so of ridicule. Your displays of affection are limited to polite, respectful, and very impersonal attitudes, and you treat everyone the same way.

THE THROAT CHAKRA
GENERAL INFORMATION
Color: Blue Element: Ether
Sense: Smell Symbol: Sixteen-petaled lotus
Organs and body parts involved: The throat, the nape, the jaw, the ears, the vocal apparatus, the trachea, the esophagus, the bronchi, the upper lungs, and the arms.
Glands involved: The thyroid

This fifth chakra is the center of expression and communication with the outside world. It is the bridge between our way of thinking and the expression that results from it. It is through it that we externalize our tears, our joys, our hopes, our anxieties, and our feelings. Through it, we also perceive our own inner voice, but it is also the center of listening and openness to others.

If you are in harmony and open, you express your feelings and thoughts, thereby showing your strengths and weaknesses. You have the ability to listen to others and know when and how to remain silent. You are not easily influenced and know how to say no when necessary, while maintaining great openness and a broad-mindedness.

If it is not harmonious or not properly opened, the energies remain blocked, and you then occasionally experience the sensation of a lump in your throat. You become taciturn, rationalistic, and rigid, denying your feelings the right to exist. Your language may become brutal and coarse, with the inconveniences this entails in your relationships with others.

If you are completely blocked or shut down, you are shy and withdrawn; the slightest emotion tightens your throat and makes your voice falter. Fearing others' judgments and the debates that might ensue, you cling to their opinions and become a malleable, easily influenced individual.

THE FOREHEAD CHAKRA
GENERAL INFORMATION
Color: Indigo Element: None
Sense: Extrasensory perception
Organs and body parts involved: the face, eyes, ears, nose, sinuses, cerebellum, and central nervous system.
Glands involved: The pituitary

This energy center is also known as the Third Eye Chakra. It is the seat of intuition and awareness, serving as the interface between our subjective reality, our mental archetypes, and the projection of these archetypes into the physical world. It governs the relationship between the subject (us) and the object (our thoughts).

If it is in harmony and open, it triggers an opening of consciousness and leads to significant spiritual evolution. Your knowledge becomes intuitive, you develop a pronounced capacity for mental visualization, enabling you to approach the world with a holistic vision in which everything and every being plays its role and is in its place.

If it is not harmonious or not properly open, it is the intellect and cold reason that guide you. You likely have well-developed mental abilities, but you lack a holistic vision of the world, and a great universal context escapes you. You often display intellectual arrogance, despising others' opinions because they do not fit your mental patterns.

If you are completely blocked or closed off, you are entirely shut to any matters related to spirituality. To you, all of this is nothing but pure imagination and useless daydreams. Life is conditioned only by material desire, and any self-reflection is out of the question.

THE CROWN CHAKRA
GENERAL INFORMATION
Color: Purple Element: None
Meaning: None Symbol: Thousand-petaled lotus
Affected organs and body parts: The brain.
Glands involved: The pineal gland (epiphysis)

It is the Supreme Chakra that binds us to the Divine. As a reflection of the opening of the other Chakras, it is the center of the sublime understanding of our divine nature. It is the seat of a deeper knowledge than that of the Frontal Chakra, where there is no longer any difference between subject and object; duality no longer exists, and you are the object. You are knowledge, love, and compassion itself. When it is fully open, it no longer absorbs cosmic energy, but the flow reverses, and it is it that emits energies in all directions. In the imagery of religious and philosophical traditions, it is the halo of light that surrounds the head of the Saint or the Awakened One, which the faithful invoke through prayer.

This Chakra cannot be blocked; it is only more or less developed. When it begins to open, your consciousness will become calmer, more open, and more serene. In the mental silence that will then settle in, you will face your Self and what you truly are. You will come to see, even in matter itself—yet the grossest manifestation—the presence of the divine and the subtle energies of the universe. Thus, you will reach the desire to merge with the Whole, thereby annihilating the ego and duality. This is the perfect Awakening of consciousness.

If, however, it is underdeveloped or nearly closed, you are in disharmony with the universe, and your other six chakras do not vibrate in unison. You are consumed by doubt about the very purpose of your existence, drowning in mundane responsibilities, thereby avoiding confrontation with yourself and shying away from the idea of turning inward. Often, the consequence of this state is illness, which forces you to stop for a while and leaves you with no choice but to look within.

Hello Lolly!

Thank you for this very comprehensive summary.
I just want to remind you that during a chakra work or balancing session, you must always proceed in order:
Always start with the root chakra, or first chakra. It is important because it is what allows us to be stable. It is, in a sense, the foundation of our body.
There is no point in building a beautiful house with a nice roof if the foundations have been neglected.
It’s the same with the chakras: you start with the first one, and once it is well balanced, you move on to the second, and so on.
Do not hesitate to go back to the first one if necessary.
We should, in fact, set aside two to three minutes each morning for our good grounding to properly clear the fog from our day.

Best regards

Dear Minerva,

Your remarks are very much to the point.

I am infinitely grateful that you have raised this matter with greater rigor.

It's necessary to move forward.

I love you

Thanks, Lolly!

Thank you for all these tools and knowledge that you share so generously with us!

All of this is still very difficult for me to understand and, above all, to put into practice, but I believe that in my own way, I am managing to somewhat transform my relationship with life, and my chakras are opening up a little more as my perception changes… I am still far from harmony, and I am not yet able to settle into the meditation and mindfulness necessary to feel and align the chakras, the energies, and everything that will allow me to attain serenity. But this is within me, thanks to your help, and even if I am not progressing very quickly on this path, at least I am not retreating, and the changes that have taken place are here to stay and encourage me to continue on this path…

Thank you again, sweet infinite source of renewal!

A tender kiss!

Hello everyone

Since the subject of chakras has come up on other threads, and I have finally managed to figure out how to insert an image on this forum, even if a bit small,…

Best regards

Yes, way too small, what a shame!
Sorry!

Me again!

All you have to do is right-click on “open image,” and it becomes very readable, so it’s not for nothing!

HERE ARE THE 7 ENERGY CENTERS OF THE CHAKRAS WHICH I HOPE ARE MORE PSYCHIC

Hello Maymol, ;D

I would be interested in your technique for balancing the chakras... how do you do it??

Thanks in advance, see you soon, I hope...

Kisses Paradise :-*

Hello Paradise!

Personally, for chakra balancing, at least for my own, I use Reiki.
If I have to help someone balance their own, or even recharge them, I sometimes use the pendulum.

On the other hand, what is often lacking for many, yet within everyone's reach, is rootedness.
To do this, there are several methods, all very simple.

Just to think of one's roots, imagining them clearly as they descend very deep into the earth, and this during certain exercises or acts of our daily lives.

Walking in the forest while pondering your roots is very nice.
A good dance session (especially African).
Lean against a very large tree.
But simply cooking, making your own bread, etc., sewing, knitting, … creative activities that leave the mind free for meditation.
Just remember to think about your roots during these wholesome activities.
Every morning, when we get up, we should do five minutes of physical exercise that both loosens up our joints and grounds us for the day.

Always keep in mind that in order to rise, one must first be well rooted.

I hope these few tips will be of some use to you.
Kind regards

Hello Maymol,

Thank you for your response, and for the variety of methods… I’ll get back to you tomorrow.

Kisses Paradise :-*
