Ideas and a new section proposal.

Machine translation.

Hello Tom,

Following an intervention by an AZ member who gave me a small financial gift as a reward for my performances on the site, I had an idea that I would like to share with you,

This would involve creating a special section or category dedicated to donations as a form of thanks, meaning that people who appreciated a post or awarded karma points to certain members could express themselves or thank us by making a donation, according to their wishes and without any obligation, to the person of their choice. This could be done via private messages (PMs), where they could, for example, request the address or bank account number of the person they wish to donate to, all in complete confidentiality, without this being disclosed on the forum.
In my view, this would not harm the voluntary nature of the AZ site at all, as it involves no ambiguity or obligation for members.
And then it would truly be a first, a scoop, because as far as I know, and for the few years I have been on the AZ site, no other site has a section or category related to donations or acknowledgments of this kind.
I remember Eliana the astrologer, Ladysally, Mamyol, Josy, and most recently Rachida, including myself this month, who have all somewhere wished for and still wish for a section or column of that sort, and here I allow myself to be a bit of a spokesperson for this,

As they say, all work deserves a reward or salary, and that is where the "Don" aspect comes into play as a form of recognition for everything we contribute to this wonderful site.

Hope to hear from you soon and have a great vacation!
With all my friendship.

Your pens are at your disposal, dear Vaznautes; your comments, remarks, or other suggestions are welcome.

The magician,

Hello Magic, Hello Tom and everyone else,

You probably have the answer to a problem I had been pondering, Magic; even if at the time I was only thinking about dreams that were becoming too numerous and taking up too much time, which is why I solved it by limiting the number of translations I do, as some of them, due to their length, require a lot of typing time.

On the other hand, there is another aspect of volunteer assistance for which I had not found a solution, and I was wondering how to integrate the principles instilled during my Reiki training (the “recipient” properly integrates the received energy only if they have provided a compensation, this being linked to the ingrained idea that a free treatment cannot be effective) with the site’s volunteering: without turning it into an activity or advertising, during dials, I mentioned practicing a little Reiki, and some members asked me for remote treatments, but I did not know how to ask for a consideration, as that would go against the site’s volunteering.
(I won’t open a section just because of that; it will remain very exceptional: I’m not ready for that yet, I still have a long way to go for myself.)

Not to mention that, for me, AZ was initially an exchange site intended to be enriching for everyone, and in that case, no donation was needed, but I realized that while that was the case at the beginning and has remained so among a few members, for others, it is merely an expectation of answers to their questions, with no exchange whatsoever.

I have always admired the patience Magic has and all the time he gives AZ.

The ball is now in your court, Tom. It’s up to you to approve the principle or not, and if so, to figure out how to implement it, which could be the novelty of the new school year.

This is vacation time, and I wish everyone a very sunny holiday.
Best regards

Hello Mamyol,

Thank you for your intervention, and following up on this, I will send you a DM.

My regards
The magician.

Hello everyone!

I thank the magician for publishing and launching this idea.

I would like this thread to be an opportunity for the involved VAZ’onautes to exchange and share on this thorny but also crucial topic!

My definition of VAZ is above all a community rather than a website, a community that appears broad but is ultimately—and as I wish it to be—fairly limited.

VAZ is yours, and I will evolve it in line with the wishes and desires of the few Vaz’onautes involved in the site’s life. But VAZ will never stray from its original purpose, which is to not be a commercial site.

On the other hand, the website also needs resources to grow, and I would like to take it to the next level, which will require funding, but that is for later.

In fact, VAZ, also a site for popularizing clairvoyance and sharing, is a laboratory for people who wish to test clairvoyance and develop mediumship gifts.

To do this, I want to develop the booth concept so that other skilled individuals can develop their talent on the site.

A donation system can be an intermediate step toward a VAZ, enabling financial contributions without distorting its basic principles and supporting progress in that direction.

As for the donation system, I am looking into setting up donations via PayPal. This incurs a cost for the person receiving the donation, but it simplifies management and is, to my knowledge, the only free option for the site that offers strong security to VAZ'onautes.

However, a problem arises in developing a remuneration system: legality, since some [elements] cannot hinder the development of a contribution system, requires compliance with certain laws, particularly income declaration!

I therefore come to ask this question: do you have a “declared” status that allows you to request payments?

If that is not the case, the donations can only be very limited, and I would not be able to accept that sales proposals be made.

Another question arises: how to protect the site and VAZ’onautes from the commercial drift of some. Out of the question that VAZ becomes a land of opportunity for greedy psychics!

Any thoughts on this topic?
