This would involve creating a special section or category dedicated to donations as a form of thanks, meaning that people who have appreciated a post or awarded karma points to certain members could express themselves or thank us by making a donation, according to their wishes and without any obligation, to the person of their choice. This would be done through private messages (PMs), where they could, for example, request the address or bank account number of the person they wish to donate to, all in complete confidentiality, without this being disclosed on the forum.
In my view, this would not in any way undermine the voluntary nature associated with the AZ site, as it involves no ambiguity or obligation for members.
And then it would truly be a first, a scoop, because as far as I know, and for the few years I have been on the AZ site, no other site has a section or category related to donations or acknowledgments of this kind.
I remember Eliana the astrologer, Ladysally, Mamyol, Josy, and most recently Rachida, including myself this month, who have all somewhere wished for and still wish for a section or column of that sort, and here I allow myself to be a bit of a spokesperson for this,
As they say, all work deserves a reward or salary, and that is where the "Don" aspect comes into play as a form of recognition for everything we contribute to this wonderful site.
