I dreamed of a flood of mud… and of the sea.

I remember being in a house and seeing the water level on the window glass; in my dream, I was wondering if the window was watertight enough.
I was with a man I loved (I don’t actually know him) and I remembered that he had a boat.

A small clarification about the previous dream: the water looked slightly green and transparent, as it was the sea...

Otherwise, I dreamed about water again, incredible… but this time it was a nightmare. (Woke up with a start)
I dreamed that my ex-boyfriend (it’s been more than 10 years now) got his foot stuck in a trap (like the ones used to catch animals), and when he managed to free himself, he opened a manhole and found himself in a kind of channel with a grate above his head. He tried to get his head out of the water… he managed to do it (I don’t see him drowning). He called for help and tried to keep his head above water.

I woke up to that.
What does that mean??

Dreaming of water and flooding two nights in a row… that’s strange.
