In the middle of my life,
I tried to find out what life is for.
I looked into sports and travel,
I looked into politics and performance,
I have searched in religions and books,
I have sought in hard work and luxury,
I searched in every way,
I even looked for ways to search.
One fine day, I found it without looking.
I had looked too far, outside, in others.
I had sought the impossible to realize
there was nothing to find.
We all have it within us.
Now that I know that life is made
small and great moments in the present,
Now that I know I have to let go
to love more deeply,
Now that I know the past brings me nothing,
Now that I know that the future sometimes makes me
to suffer from anguish and insecurity
Now that I know we don't need to travel
in the astral to be happy on this earth,
Now that I know that kindness and simplicity
are essential and that to make others happy
I must be it first,
Now that I know we can help others
especially by example and influence,
Now that I know that acceptance is a guarantee of happiness
and that nature is my best master,
Now that I know: the answer comes from the same place as the question,
Now that I know I am alive,
So now I'm just living…
