Here’s the thing, I wanted to ask because it’s not really a dream, but ever since we broke up with my ex—so since September—every time she wakes up in the morning, no matter what time it is, I feel it, and the same when she’s sad or in the middle of doing something.
Do you know if this happens to others and why?
Just so you know, I still see her image in my dreams before I wake up.

I can't say for certain, but I think you're doing mind-reading. You haven't yet come to terms with it, and you're "certainly, often" thinking about her, telling yourself that right now she's sleeping, having dinner, getting up and going to work, or perhaps you're even doing astral travel, who knows.

Hahaha, I'm not an expert in this area, but I think that, in my words and to my knowledge, it means:
to leave the body to make a journey into space.
There are people who have astral travels, not just at night in dreams, but who are so conditioned that they can do it quite often.
