Hello everyone
Magic, I thought of you when I read this poem, because it is your destiny.
If I were ever asked to describe what love means, I would say this:
To love begins in the morning with the first look we give each other,
the first smile, the first caress, and the first hello.
To love is to bring breakfast in bed or simply a coffee,
a fruit juice… accompanied by a love song
or of tender words recited with all the awkwardness one can display.
To love is to ask the other person how they slept and to listen attentively to their answer.
To love is to wink at the other in the mirror while they are getting ready,
It’s also kissing her for no reason, just for the pleasure of it, expecting nothing in return.
To love is to take the time to look at each other, talk to each other, and touch each other before starting the day's work.
To love is to see the beloved off at the door when they are about to leave;
It is to wish him a good day;
It’s about going to the window and waving with your biggest smile.
To love is to call each other for no reason, just to say that you love each other or to check in.
To love is to surprise each other without expecting anything in return.
To love is sometimes to grant the other person the freedom to live for themselves,
without excessive attachment, letting him feel that we still love him even if our bodies are far apart.
To love is to be certain that our souls care nothing for distance
and are tenderly intertwined in every situation, no matter how many kilometers separate us.
To love can also be summed up in a thought sent to the other, eyes closed, for a moment.
To love is to welcome and embrace each other upon returning home
by simply savoring the wisdom of silence or by inquiring about what the other person experienced during the day.
To love is to know how to snuggle up to one another, to laugh or be moved together,
It is about living as a couple and nurturing that complicity in any way.
It is also “making love,” a part of an essential whole in life,
Simply, like a dessert that crowns a delicious meal.
