Beauty
Your outer world determines your inner world. So, to check your inner beauty, look around you: your house, your apartment, your garden, your clothes. Are you surrounded by beautiful things? Are the clothes you wear soft and comfortable? The quality of the fabric triggers an emotional response. Are you able to walk in nature and see its beauty? Are you able to accept compliments? If you answer yes to all these questions, you can move on to Law Number 2; otherwise, look at what you could change or improve. We all have the right to exist and be happy. There is room for everyone.
Creativity
Creation is the expression of your individuality. Not creating is either self-destruction or merely imitating others. Creativity is a vital need. If you do not fulfill it, you affect your emotional life. A high percentage of people do not like their jobs. Are you one of them? If so, and if you are absolutely certain that you cannot change it, do you at least have an evening activity that allows you to compensate for this need? To be a creative person, you do not need to invent something grandiose; creativity can be found when you make a new recipe out of leftovers, it can be a floral arrangement, the making of a garment, or the construction of a birdhouse. We all have a particular talent within us. To discover it, look at what you loved as a child; it will put you on the trail of creativity. For no desire is given to us without the power to realize it.
Self-confidence
Self-confidence is not about charging ahead or fighting these fears. That is courage. Self-confidence is deeper than that. Are you able to open up, to reveal yourself, to express your emotions? Most people will say yes, but if I go a little further and ask you the same question, only ending it by saying… to a stranger? I am not talking here about telling your life story to everyone you meet. But sometimes certain situations arise and a sudden urge takes you to share your problems—do you do it? Another example of self-confidence: you have a project in mind, you are certain it is good, you tell people about it and they discourage you—do you do it anyway? If I had listened to the people around me, I would not have created this shop on my website, nor would I have made DVDs on reflexology. And yet I live off it, and very well, at that. When you share your projects, you must keep one thing in mind before letting yourself be negatively influenced: the person sitting in front of you has their own limits, their own fears, their own way of thinking, but that does not belong to you. So believe in yourself, in your ideas, and go for it.
Belonging
We all need, somewhere, to belong to someone or to a group. Many adults suffer from loneliness due to this lack of belonging. Are you someone who always sticks with the same people? Do you always frequent the same places? If so, you are currently lacking a sense of belonging. Are you able to adapt to new places and new people? If you answer no, it is a sign that you believe you have no place in this world. But the lack of belonging comes from within you; it is you who decides, at any given moment and with whomever you choose, to whom you belong. The earth is made for everyone; it is up to you to decide whether you belong to it or not. Belonging does not mean being able to live anywhere. It means feeling at ease no matter where you are. People who suffer from this inner void tend to fill it with excesses, such as food or drink. Give yourself the right to be here, to exist, and to take your place.
Hope
Hope is that small flicker of light we see in the distance, that little something at the end of the road. We need hope to function, to keep hoping that tomorrow will be better. Because everything that happens to us today is meant to make us understand that we are not on the right path. Therefore, it is necessary for our evolution. So now, every time a trial or what seems to us a failure occurs, instead of asking “why,” ask yourself what I need to understand now, and be attentive, because every time you ask a question to the universe, there is an answer on its way. Be at peace in your present moment, for the answer will come to you in different ways. It can be a wrong phone number, a phrase that catches your attention in a book, a piece of paper found on the ground. So be in the “Here and Now” at all times.
Affection
When you lack affection, you must ask yourself the following questions: Do I give it? Am I the type to wait for others to give it to me? Do I give affection to be loved? Do I neglect the people around me? I would even go so far as to say that people give more affection to their animals than to human beings. Affection is not limited to touch; there are gestures, small attentions, kind little words, and encouraging words. And you can do these things for yourself, too. Remember that the most important person on earth is YOU. Because if your lack of affection intensifies, you will experience the same thing as if you were lacking in belonging (food, drink).
The goal
It is essential to have goals. Whether short-term, medium-term, or long-term. A goal is a reason to exist, to go further, to evolve. Ask yourself the following question: what are my goals? Be specific in your goals, think big, do not limit yourself, for everything that exists on earth you have the right to it. It is enough to believe in it. Remember that a dream becomes reality if you make it a goal. Having goals gives back the taste of life. Ask the universe if this goal is beneficial for you. Take the time to write and to see what you are doing to make it come true, it can be small things, the important thing is to move the energy towards its realization.
Be happy
