Hello,
I’m picking up an old thread I just reread, and there’s plenty to discuss over and over again until we become wise.
If you feel like it, share your opinion.
affectionately
I feel like meditating, so let’s make the most of it and be wise.
We must bow before every being we encounter, for each being is unique and possesses a cup that holds the wisdom of its experience.
If I place myself above the person I meet, they cannot pour the wine of wisdom into my own cup. If, on the contrary, I bow, their wisdom flows naturally into me, by a kind of law of spiritual gravity.
That is what, in the general public, is called "being attentive to others."
It is a far more important attitude than we might think. Because no one ever crosses our path by chance.
Every being, even the most modest and even the most difficult, the worst, has something to teach us and can help us forge our character and develop in us the principle of love. In this sense, every being is a master for the other. And as long as we have conflicts with a person, it is that they still have something to teach us, which means that we must work, in their presence, on an aspect of our character.
In the face of every conflict, every frustration, whether at work or in love, one must get used to asking oneself: “What is this situation, what is this person here to teach me? Why are they on my path at this moment in my life?”
And when we find the answer, a new lesson is learned, a new step is climbed on the infinite staircase of wisdom.
And the difficulty that has become useless disappears instantly. But we ignore this simple law, we do not take others into account, because we lack humility and are blinded, as if we were walking through life with a mirror in front of us in which we contemplate ourselves sterilely and which prevents us from seeing others.
That is why most people are convinced that they are the only ones who are right, and that everyone else is wrong… For this reason, there is almost never a real conversation, and all beings remain solitary, trapped in their own mental web.
Therefore, wars, small and large, perpetuate themselves throughout the centuries… because no one wants to take the time… to walk in another person’s shoes before judging.
