Hello everyone and happy new year 2006!
I signed up on this site a while ago and I’ve decided to come to the forum because I need your opinion. Without telling you my life in technicolor, I’ll simply say that my name is Amandine, I’m 22 years old, and I’m wondering who I am.
I seem to have a gift that I can’t quite control: it is characterized by strong empathy, telepathy (as a receiver), and a few flashes… although I don’t think I have the gift of reading the future (it would be more about the past and the present).
What do you think? What would you advise me to do?
Thank you in advance.

:o Hello Amandine, welcome
I’d like to introduce myself; my name is Rolande. I understand what you mean about seeing a person’s past and present moment, while the future remains uncertain. It is a very great ability to perceive a person’s past and present, as this allows one to see what has happened in their past in order to help them here and now. Of course, there are a few flashes, and that is perfectly normal.
How do you feel when this happens to you… in your body and in your mind. I believe that a person with deep, profound empathy can see things that the human eye does not necessarily see. You see, for me, I started perceiving people’s pasts in order to help them in the present moment, and I get flashes that are exactly like your process.
What’s interesting is that the more empathetic you are toward another person, the more accessible and open you become. The catch is not judging what you see and validating it with the other person at the start. The more you practice, the easier it becomes.
Do you have any therapeutic abilities? Or would you be drawn to healing?
Rolande
Thank you, Rolande, for your message.
To answer your question a bit, my feelings vary greatly in intensity and frequency, which is also why I am trying to master them. But when it happens, I completely shut down; I feel things with the sensation that the feeling does not belong to me. It’s quite strange, but generally strong enough to hit me in the heart or make my stomach hurt…
The problem is that I can’t really put things into practice with someone, as I don’t have anyone close enough and open-minded in my circle to talk about it.
Otherwise, I am indeed drawn to anything related to magnetism and energy flows… but the results seem too random for me to claim any healing gifts.
How did you train? How do empathy and flashes manifest in you?
Sincerely, Amandine.
Hello Amandine…
I take the liberty of interjecting.
Do you feel the energies in a cathedral? Have you ever touched someone and felt their energy/their warmth?
I have to say that when I meet someone, I can tell whether I like them or not… It’s not always easy to manage, especially if I have to interact with that person frequently or even work with them.
See you soon, ClaudiaC
Hello ClaudiaC!
To answer you, I must admit that even though I am not a believer, every time I enter a church or cathedral, I feel a certain something (perhaps it is the sum of mystical energies accumulated over the years…) that compels me to silence and gives me a sense of total peace. But I would tell you that I feel the energies of nature more strongly.
I feel it for people too; I immediately (or almost immediately) sense a person's essence. It really is hard to deal with when you have to be around people you don't feel!
Has it ever happened to you to look someone in the eyes and feel as though everything around you slows down, and words or images come to mind without anyone having said a word?
See you soon, Amandine. ![]()
Hello Amandine,
In which places in nature do you feel this? Do you simply feel a total sense of well-being?
I feel this total well-being when I’m, for example, in the mountains skiing with sun and snow and no one around (there are a few slopes) and I keep to myself… what bliss!
Regarding what you describe about people… is it toward strangers (people you don’t know)?
See you soon, ClaudiaC
Hello again, ClaudiaC!
There is no specific place in nature, as I can feel vibrations in my garden! It is a feeling of inner peace, the certainty that everything around me is alive and evolving in the most total harmony. I find this very restorative.
As for people, this has already happened to me with complete strangers (for example, people I’ve crossed paths with on the street), but it mainly happens when I meet them; that feeling that beyond words, another type of communication is established…
A+
