Cast all your anxiety on [God],
because he cares about you.
1 Peter 5:7.
At the dedication of the temple in Jerusalem, Solomon implored God to hear the prayer of anyone with a sincere heart who would call upon him concerning “his wound and his pain.” (2 Chron. 6:29-31.) Solomon expressed his conviction that not only would God hear the prayers of the man or woman in distress, but that he would also act in their favor.
We too can address God in prayer and share our distress with him. We should be comforted to know that he understands our anxieties and cares about us. His tender concern is evident in these words of Jesus: “Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s knowledge. […] Do not be afraid: you are worth more than many sparrows.” — Matt. 10:29-31.
Have a good day
