Career prospects

Machine translation.

Hello,

I would like to receive a response regarding my professional life.
Indeed, my manager tends to hold back my skills and does not want me to advance within the department...
You can really feel it... there is certainly a preference issue with other colleagues...

However, I am looking to change positions, and a department would like to hire me, possibly next year, as new positions are expected to open up…

Actually, I would like to know what direction I will take next year... will I stay or leave the HR department? 5-6-10-13

Thank you and have a very nice evening
Kelly

Hello Kelly,

I see you leaving the HR department you are currently working for; therefore, in terms of career direction, you will find employment or a new commitment elsewhere, and I advise you to already take the initiative to apply.

Have a good day

That’s what I’m already feeling!!!

On the other hand, will I go through very difficult times like I did in HR when I’m in the other department that the manager would like to hire me for… will I be fulfilled in that department with my new colleagues??? and will the manager be by my side to truly help and support me!!

What I mean by that is that I had such a difficult time integrating into HR (as well as in the years that followed) that I am worried it might happen again.

I know I will do my best professionally, but perhaps due to a lack of skills, I risk dampening the enthusiasm of some people (that’s my own scenario). Anyway, tell me what your cards are saying: 4-8-10-12

Thank you, Lemagicien
Kelly

Hello Kelly,

I don't see you going through any difficult times; you'll just need a little time to adjust, and everything else will go very well, so there's nothing to worry about.

My regards

Hello!

Yesterday, I wasn't at my best in front of the audience…
Do you think my potential future manager (Pierre), who was one of the guests, could change his professional opinion of me?

Thank you for your response and have a very nice evening.

Kelly

Hello Kelly!

I had previously told you that you would need a little time to adjust.
I think Pierre, the future manager, will give you another chance.

Have a good day

Hi,

I hope you’re right!!! It would be too stupid to miss this opportunity because I wasn’t at my best, either in terms of organization or my presentation… I think it was the most disastrous intervention in my eyes!!!

My next presentation will take place on January 26 for a working session, where I am to present the year-end report and results for 2010.
How will he perceive my performance this time? Will he regain confidence?

Numbers. 2-6-10-22

Thank you for your reply, and have a great weekend!

Kelly

Hi Kelly,

Don't stress, stay natural, and everything will go well. In any case, your next performance will go much better than the last one. It's up to you to be confident and clear with your audience, and avoid being too technical, as that's what distracts you and increases the pressure.

Happy Saturday and see you soon

Hi,

So what did Pierre think of my performance this afternoon? Will he want to hire me for his department?

Thank you for your response

See you soon!

Good evening

Hi Kelly,

Your performance was perceived as much better than the last one, but I still see you having to wait in hopes of being able to join Jean-Pierre’s team, as I assume he will have to make choices among other candidates.
In short, the game is not yet won.

See you soon

Hi,
Thank you for your response!
I completely understand, as the department is expanding and the positions that will be created initially are probably not aligned with my expectations or my skills. However, I have noticed a change in Pierre’s behavior toward me; is this a misperception, or does he no longer want me in his department? I’m a bit worried!!! How should I behave toward him?! Should I keep a professional distance (only send emails and make myself available if needed) or rather schedule a meeting if necessary to hand over files? Thank you for your advice (my numbers: 4-10-14-15)

Good evening!

Hi Kelly,

I don't think Pierre no longer wants you in his department, but the fact is that he may be sensing an interest on your part that goes beyond the professional, and in that regard, it's important to distinguish between the professional and the personal or friendly aspects, which I believe is what he is trying to make you understand, hence the possible change in behavior that you are perceiving.
In the professional sphere, feel free to move forward, but prioritize written communication and availability if needed.

Have a good day!
The magician.
