I have never practiced.

Machine translation.

I know from people who have tried it (spiritism) with the famous Ouija board... is that what it’s called, or not?
Well, the people who played with it and for whom it turned out badly...
They regret it, and then they say they have nothing but bad luck…
And it’s very dangerous if you don’t know what you’re doing or what you’re getting into… the evil spirits don’t go away, and good grief, the damage… As for me, I’ve never touched it, and I don’t think I’ll ever try the experience… That’s all I know…

Good evening Loulina,

Any magic can have positive or negative repercussions on the people who use it.
But it also depends on how certain practitioners will use it.
So I’ll give you this simple piece of advice: “Don’t wake the sleeping water,” because magic is not a game, and too many people get burned trying to play at being apprentice sorcerers!
White magic is primarily used to relieve people of their ailments.
Black or red magic is often used to cause harm.

The magician.

Good evening Loulina,
I’m taking the time to reply to you, and your question takes me back… 20 years.
We were in high school, preparing for the baccalaureate…
A student wanted to try spiritualism and invited me to join.
She was talking about turning glasses upside down on a table and waiting for a spirit to appear… I didn’t go…

Good evening Loulina, I too practiced OUIJA quite a few times about twenty years ago. Notably with my grandmother, who “initiated” me. I was a child at the time and apparently attracted quite a few child spirits… well, that’s what they “said.” My grandmother is very religious and at the same time very sensitive to spiritism.
A few years later, I did it several times with friends, but one time it didn’t go very well… We had done the whole thing: in his basement, with candles, etc. (we were foolish when we were teenagers…) and a “spirit” manifested itself. When asked, “Are you a good or a bad spirit?”, it replied, “The worst one there is”!!! So, as custom dictates, we commanded it to leave, turned the glass upside down, and blew into it. And when we set it down on the table, the glass slid furiously all the way down that long table, bounced onto the floor without breaking!!! I think I have never run so fast in my life! Since then, never again. Actually, we used to do it together and each time find a certain PIOT (that was the name it gave itself), who would talk to us about Spain from centuries ago. He was very friendly. But the last time, he wasn’t there!
That's my experience.

Good evening! No OUIJA

Good evening Natouchka
I understand your fear... phew... I understand that you ran...
I see that it's going up again... it's just that I thought to myself: what if it's an evil spirit?

See you soon, ClaudiaC

I'm surprised there aren't more experiences...

Perhaps these experiences touch on intimacy and are difficult to share?

I’ve heard a lot of things about the Ouija board… but it seems like no one practices it anymore, as if it had marked an entire generation…

I have no idea at all, Tom...
When you say “it marked an entire generation”... it makes me smile... and tells me that we are roughly the same age...
High school… I took my baccalaureate in Annemasse… near Geneva…

No, seriously, wait, I'm thinking... it's been a long time and since that high school was a bad period, I need to focus...

I think that friend had asked me if I wanted to do it…
I had answered no…
I seem to recall that she had said… that we might come across a bad spirit… and that scared me… and I said no.

However, I really wanted to do it and to meet a good spirit...
I can still see the image in my mind today…

  • A table with a white tablecloth, candles around it, upside-down glasses in the middle of the table, and nervous young girls sitting around…
All anxious to see a glass tremble… and suddenly a voice… “Who are you?” – “A medieval knight”…

What do you think? That’s it, isn’t it?

ClaudiaC

I used to do this in my first and final years of high school in the 1970s. With a circular alphabet, a yes and a no, and of course the glass in the middle. It worked well, but one day I got scared: I thought I saw the glass move even though I wasn't touching it... In fact, it was always on a small table in my room. I stopped for good. I wouldn't dare start again.
Mimi

Thanks Mimi... I see that we're interested in this at the same age...

However, for me, it was the late 1980s…

the trembling glass…
Just thinking about it intrigues me today…

ClaudiaC

I practiced from late '88 until '90, and then we stopped.
My cousin had a friend who had had problems with Ouija.

It was the years of my baccalaureate… I see it was the same period…
