First of all, I wish you all my best wishes for 2013!
For the past few months, my colleague P. has been increasingly distant with me.
He didn’t wish me a happy new year, no thanks, no email, no reply to my emails, he’s completely absent even though he works at the same company.
Is there something wrong with me? Or is he like that with everyone? I know he’s pretty stressed, but to the point of completely ignoring me? I just can’t understand it. I don’t think I did anything clumsy… at least I hope not!
He promised me a position in his department if the opportunity arose… however, I really feel like he stringed me along with false promises. I am truly disappointed to have devoted so much of my time to helping him and received nothing in return (not even a thank you!). I thought he had respect for me and recognized my work. I don’t think that’s the case!
What should I do? Did I get the wrong idea about him, or is he really in such a delicate and stressful situation that he forgets about the people close to him? 4-6-10-12
