My husband had several opportunities to change his status (an increase in responsibilities, but each time nothing came of it!)
We just made him another offer, so it's still the same company, but a new role and a salary increase.
Do you see any change in him?

As previously stated regarding another reading, your husband is not really the type to take a stand; he rather lets things come to him, believing that he is content with what he has, and since he does not assert himself or stir things up, I think that is the reason why nothing gets done, because in truth he does not really like change.
So, in short, it all depends on him, because if we make him offers, it’s up to him to choose!
