Dear Josy and Lemagicien,
I am back home and before going through the door, I told myself: I trust myself. After all, it’s not up to me to feel guilty! I feel strong in my decision to separate. Max, whom I saw again when he got back from the weekend at his dad’s, was smiling and light-hearted… He was proud to show me that he had made himself a cozy pillow, and told me: “See, I’m big now, I can manage!” It did me a world of good to see him like that.
Pierre was there and it seemed he was still holding out hope, but I gave him none, without being harsh either. He got angry again about the money issue, the fact that he wants to keep the apartment, and he absolutely wants me to do nothing that could prevent him from keeping it… He left the house, angry, and said rather petty things to me. I don’t care. I feel the breakup has happened in my heart, I feel relieved, normal…
Phew!
I have a feeling this houseboat is going to sell… (the boat I mentioned in the previous message). I’m confident.
I intend to move in with my friend Carole on Tuesday evening.
And to find a cute little apartment that would be enough for the three of us during the loft renovations.
I am convinced that Max will get better and better.
Isabelle
