Career changes?

Hello Magic Man,
I just found out and I must be the last one on my team to learn about our manager's departure this summer.
I would like to have a rough idea of the impact this could have on my professional life.
Am I leaving too on 2/7/19
or if I stay, will there be a promotion or an improvement in my working conditions: 2/7/15

Yeah, your boss is going to leave, whether it's for family reasons or health issues...
I can see you staying in your current position with the possibility of improvement, but not necessarily with a promotion, despite the risk of having to take on an excess of responsibilities.
So working more to earn more isn't really the case.
