Yes, it is essential that you see a doctor and have them order an X-ray or CT scan of your knee, as the pain you are experiencing could be due to either a rheumatism issue or osteoarthritis (stated conditionally, as I am not a doctor).

Actually, I have already had all these tests, and I have a bone that is undergoing necrosis and cartilage that is deteriorating. There is nothing to be done immediately because I am too young for a prosthesis. However, I was wondering whether I should have the cartilage debrided to get some temporary relief, as I need to last as long as possible.

Having your cartilage scraped could be a solution, but again, it will be up to the doctor to assess this in consultation with you.
