I can't seem to understand the world; maybe we're being steered like machines with remote controls from another world and another dimension.

We are not machines or robots, because logically everyone knows how to distinguish between good and evil, or each of us has free will.
But from the standpoint of destiny, everyone has their own destiny that must be fulfilled and will be fulfilled.
For example, two physically identical twins will not have the same fingerprints!
Everything that guides us in this world is the man who created it, and we have become slaves to all this robotics; that is the difference between a destiny and the so-called modern world.
