Dream of a house from adolescence

Machine translation.

Hello,
When I was a teenager, we lived in a large house (abroad - for a few years). It had two floors, and I must say that I often dream about that house. It was very beautiful and I really liked it. I lived there until I was 15, when I had to leave my parents to return to my country for the baccalaureate.

So here is my dream:
I dream that I am in the basement of this house. With my mother. She was preparing their move and still had things to throw away. I see a lot of old things I used to have at their place. Useless junk. She told me she even still had some old chocolate that was still good. I think to myself, no way, after 10 years (12 years, actually), that chocolate couldn't possibly still be good.

By the walls there were what looked like holes... because they had to raise the house.

And in a room, a mouse was passing by.

I think my discomfort is resurfacing again, isn’t it? And that I need to put the past behind me? Forget the past? And that my biological mother is there to help me with that?

Apart from that, I miss that house and that town; despite the harsh winters, I felt comfortable there.

Would I like to go back to the carefree days?

Best regards, ClaudiaC

Hello Claudiac,

This dream indicates that you really do need to forget the past!
For that past is marked by relationships of falsehood and hypocrisy at multiple levels.
You will find the time of carefreeness again by leaving the memories of the past in the past, because one does not build a new life based on memories belonging to the past.

Friendship
The magician.

Hello LeMagicien,
My past… is dotted with people (plural) who have been false and hypocritical toward me. And not just one.
Even friends (in the plural).
And especially at the boarding school (and yes, I attended boarding school out of... the obligation to have a good education, not for financial reasons...).
I’ve been wary of fake and hypocritical people for a long time. I even have some around me at work. And I can “sense” them now, which I certainly couldn’t do at fifteen.
And how many hypocritical teachers. When I think about it... bah, I shake off the thought.

Thank you, with regards, ClaudiaC
