An interrupted walk

This interrupted walk worries me.

In the middle of the night, I had a strange dream. I found myself on a country road lined with fields, walking along it, needing to meet up with a companion I could not see and did not know, in a place that was even more unfamiliar. The last houses I found on my way before reaching this road were like a small rural business where two people, a man and a woman, both around 60 years old, were on the phone and bustling about. In my dream, I clearly heard the voices and the phone rings. Suddenly, while it was sunny, I saw huge, menacing black clouds approaching from my right, leaving part of the sky on my left sunny and clear. Fearing I would not have enough time to reach my destination given the threatening weather (tornado and storm), I decided to turn back on my heels, as I did not have my mobile phone with me to ask the people at the small business to kindly lend me their phone to call this aforementioned unknown companion and thus take shelter at their place. At that point, my dream fades, giving way to a different situation, apparently in the presence of this unknown companion, lying next to him. He was talking to me, and it seems I remember that, from his tone and his words—which I do not remember—he did not appear satisfied with my reactions. Is this a cause-and-effect relationship with a phone call from a friend received the previous day? All I know is that dreaming of a sky with dark clouds is a bad omen. What other trouble is going to happen?

It is true that the information shared by this friend the previous evening, and so late at that, since he called me while I was in my first sleep, left me with a feeling of worry, albeit a questioning one.

Through his phone call, I sensed that he was disappointed with his career progression due to his boss being a friend, as well as significant physical and mental exhaustion.
