Here I was trying to get in touch with my old best friend. I asked my husband if he remembered where my friend lived, and he said no. I tried to call him, and I was very irritated that I couldn't reach him. I did manage to get through, but I couldn't hear him well. I asked him where he lived because I wanted to go see him. I had to repeat myself several times until he gave me his exact address; he couldn't hear me well either. I hung up the phone. My husband was playing tennis; there was a lot of noise around him. He won the match. I told him I had to go. A little girl then appeared. It was our daughter, with curly blonde hair (we don't have any children). She was crying and came to complain to my husband, but he put her in my arms and said, "Talk to your mother." While she was telling me about her troubles, we were heading home. I was upset because I knew my friend wasn't doing well and I wanted to see him, but I couldn't. When we got home, there was writing on the wood of my desk: "Thank you," and next to it, a piece of paper that read: "I love you, baby."
