Aries

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac, covering in tropical astrology the period from about March 21 to April 19 or 20. A fire sign, cardinal and masculine, it is ruled by Mars; the Sun is exalted there. It opens spring and the astrological year. Tradition associates it with boldness, frankness, the energy of beginnings, a pioneering spirit and combativeness, with impatience, impulsiveness and a certain bluntness as the downside. It corresponds to the 1st house.
