Life path number

The life path number is the number derived from the full date of birth, regarded as the most important in a numerology chart. It is calculated by reducing the day, the month and the year, then adding them together and reducing the total, while keeping master numbers. According to tradition, it describes the general course of a life: the experiences along the way, the lessons it offers and the climate in which it unfolds. It is read as an underlying tendency, never as a fate written in advance.
