Pig (Chinese astrology)

The Pig, also called the Boar, is the twelfth and last animal of Chinese astrology. Its recent years are 1983, 1995, 2007 and 2019, the next being 2031, taking Chinese New Year into account. A yin animal associated with the fixed element Water, it embodies, according to tradition, generosity, sincerity, good nature, a taste for simple pleasures and tolerance. Its supposed downside is naivety and a certain laziness.
