Undue influence

Also psychological hold · psychological subjection · coercive control · mental manipulation

Undue influence is a situation in which a person gradually loses the ability to judge and decide for themselves under another's influence. In clairvoyance, it builds up in stages: flattery, isolation from loved ones portrayed as harmful, fear kept alive, rituals to repeat, rising spending. French law punishes abuse of weakness linked to psychological subjection. Family and friends are often the first to notice the change, and in France the Miviludes or a lawyer can be approached.
