78-card deck

The 78-card deck is the complete composition of the tarot: twenty-two Major Arcana and fifty-six Minor Arcana, the latter divided into four suits of fourteen cards each, ten pip cards and four court cards. This structure, broadly stable since the fifteenth century, is shared by the Tarot de Marseille, the Rider-Waite-Smith and the Thoth, despite their differences in names and order. Tarot readers use it for detailed readings.
