The Kipper is a German 36-card divination deck that appeared at the end of the 19th century, whose illustrations depict people and scenes of everyday life: marriage, letter, journey, illness, gift, false person… Its name is linked to a certain Susanne Kipper, whose existence has not been established. More literal than the Petit Lenormand, it is likewise read through combinations and often in a grand tableau, starting from two main significator cards. It remains widely used in German-speaking countries and is gaining recognition in France.
