Black Moon Lilith
Also Lilith · Black Moon · lunar apogee
In astrology, the Black Moon, often called Lilith, is a calculated point rather than a celestial body: it usually corresponds to the apogee of the Moon's orbit, the point where the Moon is farthest from the Earth. It travels through the zodiac in about nine years. Several calculation methods, mean or true, give different positions. Astrologers who use it read in it the shadow side, untamed desire, refusal and whatever escapes social norms; its interpretation varies widely.
