Ace of Hearts

In French cartomancy with ordinary playing cards, the ace of hearts is the card of the home: it represents the house, the family, the place where one lives and, by extension, domestic happiness. In a reading, it often sets the scene, indicating that the question is playing out at home or in the private sphere. Surrounded by favorable cards, it suggests family harmony or a plan to build a life together; next to spades, it points to tensions under the same roof. It is one of the most positive cards in the deck.
