Cartomancer

A cartomancer is a practitioner who interprets cards drawn during a consultation: a 32- or 52-card deck, tarot or oracle cards. The reading rests on the traditional meaning of each card, its position in the spread and the links between cards, which the practitioner connects to the question asked. Many cartomancers also describe themselves as psychics and add their own intuition to the symbolism. The term names the profession; the practice itself is cartomancy.
