Grimaud is a French playing-card company founded in Paris in the mid-19th century by Baptistin-Paul Grimaud, which became the leading publisher of divination decks in France. It is credited in particular with distributing the Belline oracle, the Grand Jeu de Mlle Lenormand, Madame Indira’s Persian Tarot and famous editions of the Tarot de Marseille. Absorbed into the France Cartes group and later other companies, the brand remains associated with the golden age of French popular cartomancy.
