Grand Jeu de Mlle Lenormand

The Grand Jeu de Mlle Lenormand is a French 54-card divination deck published in 1845, two years after the cartomancer’s death, and its attribution to her is a publishing legend. Each card layers several registers: a central mythological or historical scene, a constellation, a geomancy figure, a flower, a letter and a playing card. Its symbolic richness makes it a demanding deck, read with attention to upright and reversed meanings. It has since been reissued by Grimaud.
