Heart line

Also line of the heart · mensal line

In palmistry, the heart line is the highest horizontal line on the palm, starting at the edge of the hand below the little finger and running toward the index or middle finger. It is associated with emotional life: how a person loves, expresses feelings and forms attachments. Its length, curve, end point and branches are read as so many nuances of temperament. Palmists read it alongside the head line, and the balance between the two is considered significant.
