Marcel Belline

Marcel Belline was a highly publicized 20th-century French psychic and medium who gave his name to the Belline oracle. By his own account, in the 1950s he discovered the Mage Edmond’s handmade cards among old documents, then had them published in the early 1960s. He also wrote several books on clairvoyance and his practice. Today his name is associated with the deck more than with his own career, and the story of the discovery belongs partly to oral tradition.
