Rascettes
Also bracelets · wrist bracelets
In palmistry, the rascettes are the transverse lines that mark the crease of the wrist, just below the palm. There are usually two to four of them, and tradition also calls them bracelets. Some early authors linked them to longevity, an interpretation that contemporary palmists have largely abandoned. Today they are mostly read as a sign of stability and general resilience, always symbolically and without any medical value.
