Retrocognition

Retrocognition is the claimed perception of past events that a person did not live through and was never told about. Some mediums say they perceive the history of a place, a house or an object in this way; others use it to bring up a client’s past at the start of a session, which, they say, helps build trust. Like precognition, it belongs to the vocabulary of parapsychology and has not received scientific validation.
