Thoth Tarot

The Thoth Tarot is a tarot designed by the occultist Aleister Crowley and painted by Lady Frieda Harris between 1938 and 1943, published as a deck in 1969, after the death of both its creators. Dense with astrological, kabbalistic and alchemical references, it renames several arcana (Adjustment, Lust, Art, Aeon, Universe) and reorganizes the court cards as Knight, Queen, Prince and Princess. It is accompanied by The Book of Thoth, published by Crowley in 1944.
