Wicca
Also Wiccan · the Craft
Wicca is a neopagan religious movement that emerged in England in the mid-twentieth century, popularized by Gerald Gardner with his book Witchcraft Today, published in 1954. It generally honors a goddess and a god, celebrates the cycles of nature through eight festivals, the sabbats, and practices ritual magic guided by an ethical principle of harming none. It has branched out into many traditions.
