Guardian angel

In Christian tradition, the guardian angel is an angel assigned to each person to protect and guide them; the Catholic Church celebrates guardian angels on October 2. The belief has been taken up and broadened by contemporary spirituality, which speaks of signs sent by angels, angelic guidance or angel cards. In psychic reading, the guardian angel is often invoked as a kindly, reassuring presence.
