The Moon

The Moon is Major Arcanum XVIII of the tarot. It shows a heavenly body with a human face above two dogs or wolves, two towers and a pool from which a crayfish emerges. Upright, it evokes intuition, dreams, imagination and sensitivity, but also uncertainty and haziness. Reversed, it is read as an illusion fading away or, on the contrary, as confusion, fears and deception. It invites the querent to tell what is felt apart from what is feared.
