Judgement

Judgement is Major Arcanum XX of the tarot, renamed Aeon in the Thoth deck. An angel blowing a trumpet appears in the clouds above figures rising from a tomb. Upright, it symbolizes a calling, awakening, rebirth, a new vocation or liberating news. Reversed, it is read as hesitation to answer a call, regret, harsh self-judgment or a postponed decision. Despite its name, the tradition rarely reads it as a condemnation.
