Pyramid spread

Also pyramid

The pyramid spread stacks rows of cards that grow shorter and shorter, for example four, three, two and then one, with the top card serving as the culmination. The base is read as the foundation of the situation and each level as a stage that follows from it. The number of cards varies with the method, from six to twenty or so. This spread suits questions about development, where the aim is to understand how a situation builds up step by step.
