Outcome position

The outcome position is the place that shows the likely outcome of the situation, given the forces described by the other cards. In the cross spread it is usually at the bottom; in the Celtic Cross, it is the tenth and final card. Ethically minded tarot readers present it as a conditional tendency: where things seem to be heading if nothing changes, not a written destiny.
