Vibrations

In esoteric and New Age language, vibrations refer to the energetic quality attributed to a person, a thought, a place or an object. People speak of “high” vibrations for what feels bright and soothing, and “low” vibrations for what feels heavy or unsettling. The expression borrows an image from physics without its meaning: it is a vocabulary for expressing a feeling, not a measurement.
