New Age

The New Age is a broad spiritual current that emerged in English-speaking countries in the 1960s and 1970s, heralding humanity’s entry into a new era of consciousness, often called the Age of Aquarius. Without dogma or church, it blends Eastern spiritualities, Western esotericism, psychology, ecology and alternative therapies. In France, it popularized much of the everyday vocabulary of clairvoyance: energy, vibrations, chakras, guides, crystal healing.
