Dominant card

The dominant card is the card that sets the tone of a whole reading through its symbolic weight, its position or its links with the other cards. It may be a Major Arcanum among Minor cards, a card that answers the question directly, or a card that several others seem to be looking at. Spotting the dominant card helps rank the interpretation instead of giving every card the same weight.
