Mirror reading is a technique that links cards placed symmetrically in a spread, for example the first and last cards of a line, or the two arms of a horseshoe. Each pair is read as a dialogue between two aspects of the situation. Practiced especially by Tarot de Marseille readers, it brings out correspondences that a card-by-card reading would miss.
