Misleading commercial practice

Also false advertising · deceptive claim

A misleading commercial practice is, under the French Consumer Code, a communication or offer that misleads the consumer about the nature, price or results of a service. In clairvoyance, it can be a guaranteed result, a fake review, a hidden price, a false “certified psychic” status or a free offer that is not really free. In France, these practices fall under the oversight of the DGCCRF, the consumer protection authority, and can be reported on the public SignalConso platform.
